SASSA Announced Social Grant Payment Dates For August 2024

SASSA has announced the August 2024 social grant payment dates for the people of South Africa. At the beginning of the next month, social grants, which include Old Person Grants, Disability Grants, and Child Care Grant payments, will be distributed to all deserving and eligible people.

If you are eligible for any of these grants, check the status of your application immediately and find out your payment date. You can withdraw your grant amount through your cash center or gold card.

The government provides Social Grant Grants to deserving South Africans to:

• Through childcare grants, people with low incomes who cannot meet their children’s financial needs can be fully supported.
• Those people who are disabled and cannot do any job of their own are provided money in the form of disability grants so that they do not become a burden on society and can live their lives dignifiedly.
• The government provides funds as an Old Age Grant to all those older people who can no longer earn employment so they can spend their remaining lives happily.

SASSA has announced the social grant payment dates for August 2024 in its last meeting. These dates apply to all eligible for the Child Care Grant, the Elderly Grant, or the Disability Grant. They can withdraw their money from their nearest bank or ATM.

Old Persons Grant Payment Date August 2024

All old persons who are receiving old person grants under the SASSA program from Govt. SASSA installment of August 2024 has announced for them. They can collect their grant money from their nearest bank, ATM, or SASSA cash point on August 3, 2024.

OLDER PERSON’S GRANTS will paid from Wednesday, 03 August 2024.

Old Persons Social Grant Amount 2024

• Under the Old Person Grant, senior citizens who are under 75 years of age will receive R2090.
• While those who are above 75 years of age will be provided with R2110.

Disability Grants Payment Date August 2024

All disabled persons who cannot gain employment are eligible for a Disability Grant. The payment for August 2024 has announced. They can collect their grant amount on August 4, 2024, from their nearest bank or SASSA cash point.

DISABILITY GRANTS will paid from Thursday, 04 August 2024.

An amount of R2080 is provided as Disability Grant under the SASSA program.

Children’s Grants Payment Date August 2024

Under the SASSA program, the government provides funding to all orphans or those sponsoring orphans through childcare grants so that they can take care of these children and educate them well. The childcare grant amount will distributed on August 5, 2024.

If you are eligible for SASSA social grant money. And you have submitted your SASSA online application. You can check the payment status of your grant online at sassa.gov.za from home. Follow the procedure to check SASSA Social Grant Payment Status 2024:

1. Open the sassa gov za website on mobile.
2. Click on the “Social Grant Payment 2024” tab on the home page.
3. Enter your National Identity Card number in the first box.
4. Enter your registered mobile number in the second field.
5. Click on the “Check Status” button.
