Provide your South African ID number and mobile number
If you are a South African citizen, you must enter your National Identity Card and mobile numbers. Asylum seekers or those who have received a special permit from the government should provide their file number or passport number. Provide your information and click on the “Send SMS” button.
Mobile OTP Verification
As soon as you submit your information, you will receive an OTP, i.e., a verification pin from the SASSA online portal, on your registered cell phone number.
