SASSA Application For R350 2024 Grants

The South African Social Security Agency launched the Social Relief of Distress Grant (SRD) program to assist South African citizens temporarily. Under this program, R350 is distributed among the poor and deserving citizens so that their difficult economic conditions can be improved and poverty can be eradicated from them and the country.

SRD Grant was initially introduced in May 2020 for families affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and will be extended until March 2025. Later, under this scheme, people who were unemployed and eligible for government grants were also helped.
